I have three grandsons, ages 16, 13, & 7.
This photo was taken on the Lake in the Community in Odessa, Fla. yesterday, where my son in law, daughter and grand boys reside.
Their Dad, my son in law Jeff is an awesome son in law, husband and father to my grandsons.
Jeff lost his father due to a heart attack when he was around age 17....I grief that his Dad is not here to see how wonderful Jeff has done in life in providing for my daughter and grandsons.
I try to fill two sets of shoes, but will never fill the void, a Father to my son in law Jeff whom I as if my own son, and double duty of two Grandfather's to Jeff's son's my Grand boys I love and adore.
Please excuse the shot it was taken with a point and shoot, nothing fancy...just kids enjoying the love of life with their Dad a good man, and a fantastic father on fathers day enjoying life.
Excuse my "melancholic ramblings" as a proud old man, whom is blessed beyond measure and enjoys photography and the memories they capture and weave into my soul forever.
