Shot this crow this morning with full light. Colors popped out from what is normally a very black crow.
Not a professional birder but the5DmIV - Sigma 150-600C at 600mm combo with 50% crop and little Lightroom PP (vibrance and sat +10/+5, shadow recovery and some other tweaks), yielded a nice result
(hend-held at 2000ss and 1250ISO )

Great capture. However I believe this is a grackle and not a crow.

Beautiful photo! Very crisp! I love crows--very intelligent birds.

A superb, tack sharp shot and the download really enhances the bird. Nicely done.

A very successful image of a very common bird, Crazydaddio!
Thank you for showing the beauty Mother Nature provides and which is mostly overlooked by many but you managed to capture!

Nice shot, but as others have noted, it is not a crow. Rather it appears to be a common grackle which summers in your area. Typically, they hide in shore line vegetation where they can be heard but not seen. There iridescence can make them quite beautiful.

Thanks for sharing.
