Gorgeous set with no. 2 my favorite, just love the colors, composition and focusing technique you chose.
Curious as to what the (seed pods?) in no. 5 are?

Thank you kindly, Bruce, for your visit and nice compliment... glad you enjoyed!!
The seeds are from a 'money' plant which is a biennial. I need to save these seeds because this year only 4 plants grew and I've always had a lot more. When the seed pods dry out, the outer layer reveals a silvery skin that looks like silver.... hence the name!!

I did enjoy, #4 is by far my favorite of these, I love the lighting, the colors seam to be right, your subject is in focus your BG is blurred just right, Love that shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite Background of these is #3, love that one, Love the lighting and bokeh, but I want to see the flower and I can't see it, it's to dark, only the top of it is in focus.

#5 is really unique, really enjoyed looking at it, very interesting.

Carol, I totally agree, it's nice to just walk outside and have the flowers greet you, but even in the other seasons, there's always so much to shoot if you look at things differently!!
Glad you enjoyed these and I always appreciate your comments!!

Thanks so much Johnny for your wonderful critique... and I have to agree that the lavender flower should be a little lighter and sharper, but I also fell in love with the background!! lol.. Maybe if I ever find the time, I'll try and work on it.
#5 are the seeds from my money plant that's not ripe for picking yet and when they turn brown, I need to save these seeds for next year..... only four plants grew and I usually have so many.
Glad you enjoyed this set!!

Thanks Donna for your wonderful comments that are always appreciated!!! I wish it was a money tree, then maybe it would grow bills instead of coins!! We might be cashing in all our coins next week... my refrig and freezer died this past Monday and the repair man is coming this Monday.... I hope he can fix it, I don't really want to buy a new one!! $$$$$$$
Glad you enjoyed my dreamy garden!!

Oh no! I didn't know your fridge and freezer died! I hope you haven't lost anything and hope the repair man can save you from having to shop for appliances. Yuck!

Monday night David noticed the freezer wasn't working because all my many (lol) frozen bananas were mush, but we didn't know about the fridge until the next morning. Luckily it was on the empty side, so we didn't lose anything and I have two small refrigerators so we used them and also put whatever was good from the freezer in our upright freezer in the garage. Hot air was blowing in, so now we unplugged it, I'm hoping it's just the compressor and can be fixed... otherwise we make a trip to Sears.

LOL... I know, my bananas... I use them to make banana bread and add to smoothies, I'll have to start collecting again when this mess is over!
