My bad. I thought that I had read somewhere that he had passed. In his current condition it would be a blessing if he had. I have a mother-in-law who is in the final stages of Alzheimer's and, if we were living in Oregon, we could have arranged for a peaceful transition instead of allowing her to live through her current condition where she has to be medicated with morphine, can't feed herself, can't move around and messes herself in bed.
