Shot this one this morning, very little movement, just the flick of the wrist, added some Topaz Water color effects. Shot @f/22 closed down as much as the lens I had on would go. really needed a ND filter to make me happy with it, but happy with the outcome, the more I do the more I learn.

I like the effect. You can easily tell what your subject is; but the background is nicely blurred. I would suggest you consider a crop of the right side. That vertical tree is not helping you out. I don't think that area of the composition is all that necessary. That crop would also have your subject on the right side of the frame looking into the frame. Stronger image in my opinion.

What was your shutter speed, Johnny? Exif is missing. A fascinating result! From my viewpoint, the strong vertical on the right does compete with the statue and the rest of the pleasing lines. Do you ever receive comments or strange looks from folks who catch you jerking the camera around?

Thank you much Erich, I will consider it, but most likely will leave it be, when I originally posed the shot I liked the tree.

This one was 1/30 sec. f/22 I couldn't shoot slower, way to much light, needed some clouds, I shoot by myself so no one is around, but the motion is like your tracking a moving car or something, try to be smooth.

Thank you Linda
