Wonderful tonal values shown here Bob, the composition of the lone tree in what appears to be a box canyon, is an extra treat from a perfectly chosen perspective....
Frank, Thank you very much. That tree was intentional and I was hoping someone would notice. --Bob

This is first-rate work, Bob, with its three layers (foreground, mountains, and sky), and excellent black-and-white rendering. I'd hang this one on my wall.
John, thank you for the nice comments. I appreciate them very much. --Bob

Great work on this, Bob. I love how the Tseye meanders and you've captured that well. You've done a great job bringing out the character of the canyon walls.
Hi, Bob, A beautiful scene! Given your usual concern for use of full tonal spectrum I suspect the blocked shadow are a result of the "UHH POSTING EFFECT" rearing its head. I can appreciate the adamant stand of "picturing what's there" but it would be a kindness ( to most viewers? to some viewers? ...to me!) clone out that building on the left edge.
The photo-ops from that side of the canyon are inspiring beyond imagination! Got more?
Thank you very much, APL. I'm going to be going back there again as soon as the weather in that area cools off a bit. --Bob

Dave, thanks for taking a look and the comments. There were a few places on the walls that were almost featureless in shadow. However, the large shadowed area of the nearest wall does have some detail in it. I may rework this over the next few days and repost.
OK, just for you, I'll take care of the small house on the left edge. However, please realize, I do that reluctantly. --Bob
