A Few Photographs from Brittany

I went on holiday to Brittany last month, the region is famous for the beaches as well as all types of sea food.
Here's a small selection of various beaches, some very old trees behind the beach and an example of some "Menhirs" which are very ancient stones which litter the area in thousands very often in long lines.

Thanks Jerry. Like you I don't want to fly anymore, fortunately in the UK we have the whole of Europe to go to either by car or train.
This was our first European trip this year and we have a couple more planned especially when the school holidays are over.

Very nice shots of a beautiful area. Did they give you the story about the stones at Carnac being Roman soldiers who were petrified by a local god?

No, I have not heard that story before, its not very likely as these stones date back before Roman times, interesting story though.
