I have been shooting pictures ever since the beginning of high school and I am now 77 YO. I have learned that there are picture opportunities everywhere, if you just learn to recognize them.
I was camping on vacation in Colorado a couple of weeks ago, and visited Aspen. Went into New York Pizza parlor for lunch, which is upstairs over another store. A man was sitting by him self next to a large window in the front. I saw him look at my camera (Canon 5D SR) and thought, he either wants to steal my Camera or he is a fellow photographer, which is what he was. We chatted for a while and I asked him if I could shoot a couple of shots of him as he had a good face and the light was just right. The whole shoot took at best two minutes. He made some recommendations as to where I should go to take some good landscapes. I gave him my card and asked him to Email me and I would send him the pictures. As of yet he has not contacted me. I had nothing to write with and I have forgotten his name. I am hoping he is a hedgehog and sees himself, and contacts me.

Bushpilot, flathead27ford, photophile, I STOP TO SHOOT, Thanks a lot, so glad you liked the images. I STOP TO SHOOT, you are correct, in my conversation with him, he mentioned that he had traveled all over the world, so he most likely does have a lot of stories to tell. I am so sorry that I can't contact him.

Nice shots good cooperation of you 2. I have been photographing Homeless persons in Balboa Park, San Diego, Ca. Usually with their permission. The stories their faces convey are a real study of the life they have lived.

Thank you wanderingbear and mffox. If only some of those stories could be told, but most of them will go with them to their grave, so many stories that are lost for ever.
