Family Photo Collage

I would like to put together several family photo collages, the photos would be about wallet size in the final print, but I want the final print to be poster-sized, perhaps 24" X 36" or even larger if there are such poster frames. When I think collage, I'm thinking about photos placed at random on a page with some overlap, not formatted boxes to put photos in. I have LOTS of photos! Question: what program would be best for creating the collage, where can I get it printed and framed. All suggestions welcome. Thanks, Bob

If you are using Windows there's Microsoft's AutoCollage. The best part is it's free.

Picasa has a GREAT & easy to use collage function. Download @ http://filehippo.com/download_picasa/. Also, Costco will print your collage 20X30" for $10.00. I know that you didn't ask, but Andrea Mosiac @ https://www.andreaplanet.com/andreamosaic/download/ has a very interesting program along the same lines. Both programs are free, so enjoy.

Hi Bob - If you are still looking, PhotoSpills is free software that will put hundreds of photos into a collage. The final output is big enough to print as a 20"x30" poster. The software has lots of options to get a different looks with the same photos. (And I wrote the software, so you'll know where to go to get assistance) You can get the software at http://www.photospills.com

Here is a collage with about 200 photos blended together -- https://www.flickr.com/photos/136567823@N08/22969561520/in/dateposted-public/

And this has the scattered look I think you are after -- http://www.photospills.com/samples/05.gif

And here's something different... 150 photos as overlapping circles -- http://www.photospills.com/150_photos.htm

Lots of other samples out there on Flickr, Instagram, etc.

Good luck - John
