I've seen occasional discussion here about knowing the photocount of a DLSR. I just found an Android app (free) called (not suprisingly) "Shutter Count" that accomplishes this. Simply upload a photo to your android device, open it through "Shutter Count" and it displays the count number.

Will it work for a Canon 60D?

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that it has little to do with camera types. I assume that JPEG data format it's the issue.
