True Macro-Photography Forum

I am using a Nikon D5000, 55-200mm1:4-5.6DX lens. I also have a tamron 90mm macro,its older than the 55-200. Could I use an extender? Would I lose alot of light?

It is not the best idea to use tele-extenders for macro work. Extension tubes work much better. Please read:

As posted (without tight cropping), your close-up photos can be captured with nearly any lens, and are appropriate for the general Photo Gallery, not the True Macro-Photography Forum.
