In the U.P. of Michigan in a few days there will be a Model "A" parade from Ishpeming to Negaunee. Over 100 of these really beautiful cars will be involved. Appreciate some constructive ideas; thanks;

Awesome! Hopefully there will be some people dressed up in old time costumes! I have taken pictures of these old cars, and then in PS Elements, turned them to BW and sepia and used a filter on them to make them look like old photos. Just be aware of your backgrounds. Have fun!
Will you only see these in parade, or will there be a static showing as well?
If there is a static showing (or if you can do it safely on the parade route) a shot taken with the camera on the ground and shooting from the front right or front left is usually interesting.
Another thing you could do is go to a bookstore and look at an antique car calendar or magazine to see how others shot.

Thank You I will give your ideas a try,
Another idea is to do a panning shot as they drive by. It gives the feeling of movement, and blurs the background. A camera with a controllable shutter speed is required.
