I actually have one
a good lens, but I need an FX lens that I can use as a walk-aroung for the D800, the tamron is a DX. Thanks for the suggestion for an alternative.

clued me in to American TV in Appleton Wisconsin where he made his purchase. I called two weeks ago
I received my camera yesterday.
The only problem I had ordered initially with B&H and had included the extended service plan. American does not offer any additional coverage. Last time I spoke to an American sales rep, they had 3 camera's not accounted for.
If anyone is interested ask to speak to a sales rep, don't order online. Where did you purchase your lens?
