"Moon Halo"

A moon halo is created in cold weather. The moonlight shining through the ice crystals in the upper atmosphere creates the halo. I have a five year old grandson who adores the moon so I just happen to love nightime photography.

I like this shot - gives a unique view without needing all the detail of the moon's surface.
