Thanks for looking in, rmorrison1116. She is a maltese and we try to keep her fur,(hair) cut short. She is smaller than a coton at around 7.5 lbs. The papillon also pictured is 8 lbs. She knows she is small, the maltese doesn't.Here is a snapshot of her with longer fur. She is very hard to keep up in this wet climate with long fur because it tangles and mats.
This photo is like looking at a photo of our Angie, pink collar included, although our children usually always wear harnesses, it makes it easier to pick them up when they want to jump up on our laps.
I wanted to show the photo to my wife but she still gets upset, even though its been over a year since Angie's tragedy.
If you get another small white dog in the future, consider a Coton de Tulear. I didn't think it was possible, but they turned out to be even better companions than our Maltese were. Maybe it's because when we had our Maltese, there were several years we still had two legged children in the house. Our daughters are all grown now with children of their own so the only children we have at home now are our two lovable Coton's. Since my childhood I've had several different types of dogs, from a miniature German Shepherd to St. Bernard to an actual Wolf hybrid, but these Coton's are with out a doubt the most amazing dogs I've ever owned. I want to get a third one but the wife says no, her laptop is only big enough for two and since the go everywhere with us, no room for a 3rd one.
Greqt set chevman and love your pups!
Two cute dogs who seem to entertain you to the max. Great companions.
