Storing raw files on ipad

I would like to store my raw photos on an iPad temporarily to use as a backup while traveling. How do I store these photos and still be able to export them onto Lightroom. I use light room 6 not cc. Lightroom mobile only allows you to load jpegs unless you are a cc subscriber. Can you export raw files out of (Apple)Photos app?

Get CC, and then buy one of these:

Though I question whether you want to store all those files on an iPad. Better to use the WD-03 to move the files to a USB flash drive, or even a hard drive.

iPads don't generally have a lot of memory, so you won't be able to fit many raw images on one. As Gene51 said, a portable hard drive, especially a wireless one, is much better for backing up everything, not just images.

Try something like these and stock up on memory cards. Just used this method on a trip to Germany. Much lighter which is now an issue for air travel.
