Just a few snaps of Freedom before she picked a fight with her brother and off the desk she flew.
I lost sandy yesterday- my feral maine coon. I took him in to have a cyst lanced and drained. The vet called a few hours later and i rushed up to be told it was cancer and had gone thru his organs. He was such a delight to have and behold. Such a hard loss that was.
on a lighter note- The kittens were 9 weeks old this past sunday. They are up for adoption at the feline rescue in Denver. One has already found a home.
Their Mom goes in this coming Thurs to be fixed- not any too soon as she's gone back into heat. Thats all of the news on the home front.

Those are really nice shots of Freedom! She looks so innocent.
I'm very sorry to hear about Sandy. That is always hard! I'm also glad to hear the kittens are in the process of getting adopted. It is really wonderful that you took that family in and facilitated such a good outcome!

I think it was the hardest thing to have to do with Sandy. I loved that little man so much.
Freedom is a devil - she looks so innocent- Ha!
Touch me once- ok, but touch me again and your dead!
LOL
The rescue screens the adoptive owners- which made me so happy. But i had to say goodbye to Peanut and Lord the
flood gates opened up. Too much going on all at once.

Beautiful shots Marylin of a contended pussy cat! So sorry to hear about Sandy must have been a shock for you to hear she had cancer., out of pain now and meeting up with friends at Rainbow Bridge.
Good news about the kittens I bet your house seems empty now! Pleased mom is getting sorted has she settled with you? You have done a great job, we need more caring people like you.

Morning Syl,
Sandy was a terrible loss, The little man deserved more than that,But hes out of pain now, and in a much better place than down here on earth. He will be greatly missed.
The kits were a hand full. I eventually turned the office over to them, i was not safe to be in here. up and down my legs, my arms - jumping up on the window ledge- on my desk - the phone being tossed to the floor, cords being pulled from the walls. Lordy they were a wild bunch- up and over the board i had closing the door way. I'd get up in the morning find them all in the living room, running after one another. My older cats were scared to death of the little stinkers. i wish them all a good and loving home with a family that cares for them.
Mom was taking her "heat " into full vocal yesterday- one more day and that will taken care of.
its been a wonderful experience with the kittens, but dang- i am getting too old to keep having these experiences..
LOL

Thank you, MT.. Yes,- mommy now has a permanent home for life. and the Kits hopefully will as well.
Sandy is now pain free - just wish our babies could tell us what is wrong so things could of been taken care of instantly.
