I'm impressed with the detail capability of the D810 and 200-500 MM lens. For me its all about extra reach without the heavy weight and $12K price tag.
Can't wait to see what the D820 will do.

Great shot, my D810 is amazing as well. I was on a chat room with Tony Northrup and he is selling his Canon equipment for a D 810 plus lenses. Speaks well for the camera

He raved about the D810 in one of his videos but could not live with the focus breathing of the Nikon 70-200 f2.8. Went back to the Canon version.
