This is unbelievable (from the Washington Post). Not only is the fact that the star of Wonder Woman is Jewish causing debate and conflict - with middle eastern countries banning the film - but Jews are arguing among themselves about whether Jews are white, north African, Mediterranean, European, or all three? North American racial thinking is generally drawn along the old white/s***e lines, but throughout the world, racial thinking is more varied and sophisticated. It seems that everyone must be labeled.
It amazes me that people go to so much trouble to separate themselves from others according to appearance, language, or geographical location. No wonder humans are always at war.

I share your concern. We want to be special. We want to be 'right'. We want to be 'best'. And we are willing to k**l to achieve these goals. Finding non-lethal solutions to existing has been and shall continue to be our goal if we are to survive.

Yes we were part of WW1 and WW2, but if you stand by and do nothing while evil tries to take over the world don't b***h about the outcome.

Isn't it true that Jewish bases is a religion and that Z*****m is a nationality, then the bases for the argument is more towards Z*****m than the religion. When the Romans kicked the Jews out of Israel they changed the name of the land to Palestine. In Israel before they were kicked out they would have resembled the Arabs or North Africans (for their time in bondage in Egypt). When they were forced out of Israel they spread to all parts of the known world and intermixed with others, so on their return to Israel they would not look the same as when the early Jews left Israel. Because of many years of persecution and it exists today they take everything seriously that affects their religion even the star of David.

Well, now I have pull a race card out here, when I lived in a different neighborhood than I do now, I did attend a few services at the nearby Baptist church, and the only time that they weren't 100% Black, was when I showed up for services. I will have to admit that the services were far more fun than the Episcopal church I went to as a kid, or the Catholic church as a teen, or even the Unity Church as a young adult. Now I just prefer to observe my beliefs at home.
I think that the simplified problem is any organized religion that preaches intolerance for all others. And that has gone on since the beginning of time. Nobody prays to Zeus anymore, do they?

What you are saying, which is terminally stupid, is that in NA when a white person sees a black person, that the white person thinks of the black person as a s***e. If that were not so sad it would be funny.
Judaism is a religion. It is not a race. It is not a nationality. There are Jews all over the world and they are comprised of the three main accepted races. It was the N**is leading up to WWII that did a pretty good job of portraying the Jews as a race of people. Do you really want to be identified with that?

Now slow down....He said his information came from the Washington Post (and not necessarily his opinion). And FYI, not all s***es in NA were black. Not everyone who looks at a black person, sees a s***e, and I have never read anything that Jerry has posted that leads me to believe he feels that way either.

I agree with you.
It's amazing how much hatred people can muster against others who are like the but NOT like them.
This is especially true when it comes to religion.
