These four grab shots were chosen from about 25, all at the same exposure but on auto ISO. The short focal length MF lens permits pre-setting the distance for appropriate DOF. (being rather old and deaf, I don't worry about noise)

Nice ideas here, but I think you'd have better shots if you'd include people's heads to capture their expressions while doing whatever they're doing.

jaymatt makes a good point; but I'm guessing that you planned these compositions. I'm noticing two black and white and two color. Don't think that was random. The last shot was interesting because you chose to put a tilt to the scene. It is probably not a choice I would make; but I don't think it is a mistake either, so it merits consideration. I think what it does for you composition is to make it less ordinary. I see that as a plus. The color shot where you have the woman's body and hands has the same feel to it. The obvious choice would be to include the head and face. By keeping that out, you are concentrating on what she is doing and not who she is or what she looks like. I think it is an interesting set of photos. Not at all unexpected. Your photos usually give me pause to think.

Actually Jaymatt, there is only one decapitation. I was so entranced with her lovely body that I failed to notice her head. I do appreciate your comment. Many thanks. Bob

Keep us guessing. Your photos are always interesting. I'm certain that there will be those among us who might disagree with your choices; but that is how we grow here. It gets us out off the ruts.
