Thanks. As a point of possible intereset, used a 100-400 on a monopod and cropped quite a bit to fill the frame.

Thanks. Canon 40D and Canon 100-400L on a monopod. Since then, I have sold the lens and purchased a 400mmL non IS fixed. Like it better.
