These are just striking Pierre. Wonderful color and composition. It's too bad they don't last through the summer. Well done.

Ah, but we've got lots of laters stuff yet to bloom. Thank goodness.
Thank you Doc.

Nice shots. I do the same subjects every year. They convince me winter is over.

Ed

Yup. That's the way we get over Winter.
Thanks Ed.

Nice, Pierre. , Pierre, especially the iris. Unfortunately, mine didn't bloom at all this year.

What a strange growing year!!!
We have Hosta, Hydrangegia, and some Iris that are extremely stunted.
Three times the normal amount of rain and cool temperatures here are likely the cause.
Thanks John.

We've had quite a Spring up here in the Great Frozen North.
First we had a hefty belt of the normal Spring flooding and our yard was covered by several inches of water. We live at the cottage year-round and are accustomed to that.
The water receded for about a week, and then Eatern Canada was hit by massive rain storms, causing severe flooding.
Several thousand families, from Montreal to Toronto, lost their homes. It was a civil emergency.
We were lucking. Our yard again was covered with water -- more than the first flood. But, Sandra and I were lucky again. No water got into the cottage. The main damage was to our flower beds and garden.
What you see in the picture is stuff that survived and grew when the water went down.

Thanks John for your comment and support.
