Thought of this group...
I have not shot a "real" nude in ages but need to work on my lighting. I have a building on my property that is office and studio. Saw this today and had to share.
I am curious how those of you who shoot a lot get your willing models...
I did pay attention to hands and cropping!
But, but!! The hat makes the woman.... put a hat on the lady... and another hat....
The mannequin is a good learning tool. I must warn you that some come alive at midnight.... according to an old time radio program.

I was thinking a late 80's movie with Kim Cattrall.

Hi 'dpullum'... -- HeHeHe.!!! ...as you alluded in your previous Sage-Comment re: Benny-2; it's what's NOT shown (or in this case: 'said'), which makes your Observation so humorously droll.!!! ...L O V E 'Droll-Humor'!!!

Now I want a model like this for my office, too. Nice job on the lighting, hands and the crop, as well. Actually, having a model that doesn't get tired and never says no, doesn't mind if it's hot or cold and is always willing to try new things would be wonderful. She doesn't need breaks, won't complain about the food and doesn't have an impatient companion waiting in the corner. Her mood is always the same, she never thinks that she looks fat, and her mum will never ask for a reshoot. If only she could pay me for my time, she would be perfect.
More on this photo. The hands appear as hands should one is active one passive. I often comment on nudes hands. The main backdrop [Room divider] is fantastic and the rest of the jumble very interesting and sets the stage for the reason the mannequin is there. Note she is looking at the hat. If the Mannequin were laying across the bed as in one of the live Benny photos... it would be out of place.... the setting here is great. Excellent nude photo. Early Saturday morning the mannequins in the store windows were nude waiting new outfitting. That is where, as a 4 year old, I first experienced nude women, a difficult thing for real women to match, tragic being real!

http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-464030-1.htmlOK, OK, I had to look up "Droll Humor." Thank you Gpa-15... I admit Droll that is often biting humor is part of me... gotten me out of trouble and really really gotten me into trouble!! Should not have told the Sargent in 1961 army that our army was Communist inspired, which it was. Sarg did not have a good sense of ironic humor... oh well, KP.
Definition: Droll humor is, dry, often ironic, an "Oh, ya, I didn't notice that!" that which takes a moment to digest and is ruined by playing a laugh track. While Trump is writing presidential decrees like getting rid of EPA rules... let him write one getting rid of laugh tracks.... Stanfield is funny, no laugh track needed, and like in a photo, that which does not add detracts. Main writer is Larry David... who is autobiographically portrait in "Curb Your Enthusiasm". In this photo Larry would be feeling the Mannequins breast just as a neighbor lady and young daughter walked into the room!! Larry is funny because he is so very disgusting. So disgusting that it is scheduled for the 9th season on HBO!!

Yes very good no cropped joints. Nice even lighting, interesting background, and yet the model seems a little insipid to me, almost lifeless. She seems like a willing model however and I bet she would do it again if you ask nicely.
Hope you are laughing.
Hey maybe a little PS work would yield a interesting Dr Frankenstein creation. ;)
