Nothing rare or exotic here, just some flowers in our area that I thought worthy of shooting. Comments welcome and I hope you enjoy.

Very nice. I'm glad to see so many bees. A friend lost all of his over the winter, and he is starting again.
These are beautiful - all of them! That is a gorgeous Crepe Myrtle and the Yellow Bells are so bright and cheerful!

Thank you very much Carol for taking a look and for your comments. I appreciate it. I have always heard that yellow is a happy color, and I totally agree.
Lovely set, Tom!!! Nice variety and colors and love the detail on the bee!!! I just bought two small crepe myrtle last year and I'm hoping they get flowers like the ones you shot... love that color!!

If they do bloom, you know I'll be clicking!!
Nicely detailed, beautiful colors! The dramatic light on #5 with the sharp angled background as contrast - very eye catching!

Nice work. I do mostly landscape and architecture but want to start doing some macro stuff, butterflies in particular. What lens and settings do you use on the bee photos? Thanks in advance.
