Is camera lens centered within flower?

Thanks for the look,
Problem was I kept getting in the picture, tried several ways and this one worked. sized and printed flower to fit right in her pupal (using the 1-1 on my 100mm 5D mkll mounted on RRS focusing rail), cut it out to fit over the filter on lens and with the right lighting you see a couple examples, I blacked out the lens in LR. Cody (my daughter) was REALLY patient as I worked out how to make it (vision in head) happen. Took at least a couple of hours and was great fun.

The best part (other then spending time with my daughter) of this process was watching how the iris works, had all three ex tubes on the 100 at times during this process and saw up close the workings of the eye, kinda creepy yet fascinating.

Fascinating. But I didn't really understand how you did this all in camera. If I understand you right you printed the flower and than took a picture of it along with you daughter's eye. Can you explain it again I am having a hard time visualizing what exactly you did.
