I have a Sigma 15mm fisheye that works for me at a fraction of the cost.
I have a Nikon fisheye but it is the fixed focal length.
Nikon AF Fisheye-NIKKOR 16mm f/2.8D Lens. I love it for special effects.
I have a bias against zoom lenses as to me they are a compromise for convenience over sharpness.
My thoughts are that I want one.

Believe it or not, I recently bought a Rokinon 8mm (DX) fisheye -- just for fun. Had I known Nikon would be releasing the 10-20 is just a couple of weeks, I would have waited, but my Rokinon is a fun lens. Not a great one, but fun, which is why I bought it. For me, the 105/1.4 is next on my list! Best of luck.
i have a Nikon Fisheye lens, but this lens is exceptional, I"m going get it, and use it onto my upcoming cruise to Cuba....

A fisheye lens should come in handy, considering all the water that will be around you.

I checked yesterday at B&H , the lens was available for preorder at this time. Been there Done that, will wait until they are stocked in the store.
There are a number of very old good Nikon fisheye and orime lenses in eBay for under $100. I'm thinking of getting some for fun. The 180 prime is sharp from reviews I've seen.
