How do I close my 47 st photo account.

The listing said there were 4x2000mAh batteries in the order, you sent me 4x1750mAh batteries. Considering the issues with this order that have had to be dealt with, I will not be making a 2nd order with 47st photo. This is the listing as I ordered the product, http://www.ebay.ca/itm/272126101641?ul_noapp=true. It is quite plain in the picture, and in the kit description, that the batteries are 2000mAh capacity not the 1750mAh ones I received, see the attached photo, therefore no further orders will be forthcoming. Very disappointed, I expected much more from this business.

Unfortunately, they are crooks and thieves. A lot of folks have been robbed blind by these people. At least you didn't purchase something much more expensive and have a loss. Good luck.

Did you contact them? If so, what did they say?

Also, how did you pay for it. If it was with a bank card, you can go your bank and file a fraud claim, and ask them to credit back your card.

I did contact them on more than one occasion, they finally sent the batteries, just the wrong ones. I had to escalate with Ebay customer support to get anything done on this issue. I used my Paypal account to make the purchase.

As I found out 1st hand, never again, a business gets 1 chance to get it right or wrong with me, they got it wrong so I walk from them. Do you know how to close an account with them, I can find nothing on their site or in my dashboard to allow me to close out my account.

No, I don't. Sorry. Knowing them, they may not let you. Just don't purchase anything else from them. Anymore, I generally only buy from B & H, Adorama, KEH, or Cameta. Good luck.

I think you're confusing 42nd with 47th. 47th St. Photo used to be excellent. Then they closed, and others bought the name a re-opened.

If you had read the reviews on this site you never would have ordered from them in the first place. It's too late now but you learned a valuable lesson we all must learn. "If it's too good to be true it is" and read reviews before you order from a company. This is a bait and switch company and one of the worst.

If you bought the item on eBay using PayPal you then have no account with 47 street, you also have a good chance of getting your money back by complaining to eBay that you did not get what was ordered or what was described in the listing

But you must do so within a short time of receiving the goods

eBay and PayPal are good in helping you return stuff that was not as market. I had a situation recently that I purchased an old 28mm Nikon lens that was advertised as AiS but when I got it I realized it was not, it was a kit lens. Partly my fault because I didn't check the serial number on the site but it was advertised as AiS. I wrote one email to eBay and it was resolved in 5 minutes and I had a prepaid return label ready to print.

If you paid with a credit card or PayPal, file a dispute. Ask to have the charge reversed due to the fact that you did not receive what you ordered as per the vendor's site. Make sure to keep a record of all your communications with the vendor to show that you tried to resolve the issue directly with the vendor. Keep screen shots of their description of the item.

Good luck!

For my 2 cents, I use Amazon. Fast, easy best prices for the most part. Easy returns. Horrible experience with Best Buy. Do your homework! Nothing takes the place of knowing the reputation of those you deal with. There's no excuse for a sellar to refuse returns, none. The internet is full of warnings about this Den of thieves called 47th street. When will people learn? The price is too low? It's a fraud! Stay away.
