Anyone else having trouble with the covfefe settings on their camera? No matter what I try I simply can't get that effect!

Covfefe Trumps all of the other settings on the camera but only works at 3:00AM.

Hmmm.... best I can find is that you'll need larger hands...
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=CovfefeMaybe from all the definitions on this site, you can figure out how it applies to your camera settings.
the 7000 and the 7200 both set it automatically
It does nor differentiate between republicans democrats, independents and off the wall poor comedians.
Lots of luck on other models of the NIKON family and I don't think Canon has incorporated the feature yet.
My favorite response so far:
If your covfefe lasts longer than four hours, call your doctor. #Covfefe

That should be the least of your worries. Of more concern is the person behind the tweet. This is an attic thread.

That's not too far off if you look at the urban dictionary definition of 'fefe'.

Is that where he tweets from? Seems quite plausible.
I understand that the word may not have the same meaning in all 57 states - or Alaska.

Have you tried upgrading your camera's covfefe firmware level? You might be using something completely outdated and that would explain everything. Watch out, there is a UHH policeman amongst us.
I've decided not to try to use the settings...Briefly, while it was in place, it nearly destroyed the freedom my camera has to photograph anything it wants; my camera started to overheat in this climate; and the images all had an orangy kind of cast. I can only hope it's temporary and will soon do no more damage to cameras everywhere.
And, just so everyone knows, it's all in good fun.... back to flowers, pets, people living their lives waiting for me to tell their stories in photographs!

That's a smart move, since the settings are inconsistent and produce differing reactions every time. The overheating seems to be a feature of that particular setting but even then the symptoms appear to be fairly random. Even when the settings are changed the apricot cast can persist as also do the blown highlights. Processing each image as raw instead of SOOC (Straight Out Of Clown) can eventually improve the results with an extensive amount of post processing, but even that can't fix a poor initial exposure.
Most importantly, it is best to avoid the COVFEFE setting, since it will cause permanent and lasting damage incrementally to more parts of the system every time it is used.
I'm not sure whether it is simply a firmware bug or a fundamental design flaw in the logic circuits, but it could lead to any model that has that mode to being recalled and replaced with a redesigned model. There appears to be no simple software or device driver fix. It seems to be the equivalent of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, and a persistent Korean problem.
I do hope that you suffer no lasting damage!
