A beautiful place along the Oregon coast The "rocks" sticking out of the water are actually stumps of sitka spruce, about 2000 yrs old. They were buried after an earthquake. In 1998 a storms washed away mud and sand and they were exposed.

Each photo is well composed and interesting. Putting the stumps in monotone was "the" thing to do... color would have taken the story away to the sky. Silhouetting in the last two tell their story well. My hat is off to you.
