Took this picture last year (previously posted here) of the Red Shack located at the the Pier in Provincetown, Cape Cod. Sadly, the premises burned down over the weekend along with much of the adjacent Surf Club. The Surf Club had a lovely outdoor deck overlooking Provincetown Harbor and was a favorite watering hole of ours.
Building regulations, environmental and zoning regulations and economic considerations will probably make it impossible to re-build this piece of 'Old' P'town character.
One for the Historical Archives maybe.
