After a storm took down my flag pole last year, I was unable to get a new one up due to knee replacement. My rehab is complete so I did the project yesterday. Here's a pic on a blustery Sunday morning of the new one.

Very nice. I had to get a new garage pole earlier this year--next door neighbor broke the old one off. The new one is stronger! I spent 20 years in USAF, but never was shot at. I have great admiration and respect for those who were. God Bless America! And God Bless all the military.

Thanks for your service...one Nam vet to another. The only thing missing from the picture of you and the M-14 is a bayonet.
