Issue by issue President Obama is slicing his way through the Republican platform and doing-nothing Congress. First he came out in support of same-sex marriage. Although really a non-issue it defined his position and aligned the Democratic Party with equal rights for all Americans.
Today, he drops another bomb...by executive order he has stopped the deportation of undocumented aliens under 30 who were brought into this country when they were children since the legislation was stalled by Republican members of the Congress. A prominent Republican Hispanic Senator Marco Rubio (rumored to be on the short list for Romney's VP spot) stated support for the President's action.
This action today has secured the votes of a large amount of people especially in the western states and most likely secured Florida for the democrats in November.
How can the Republican Party effectively answer this without bigotry?
Just an opinion but Romney needs to return to the moderate republican that he was when he was in Massachusettes. That's the one thing that can help him. The question is, is it too late and has he embraced too many extreme rightwing positions to pull it off.
THIS isn't an election. As in the previous presidential race,...
"IT IS A LACK OF CHOICES!"

Congress has done quite a lot. It's Harry Reid who won't let those bills go to a vote in the Senate.
What flavor is your Kool-Aid?
It's not really a "do nothing Congress." The House has been churning out legislation hand over fist, but the Senate will not so much as bring any of it to the floor.
Note to Whorehouse* Harry Reid: You're making your (D) Senators look bad by not working...setting a bad example for the rest of the country.
*Our pet name for him here in NV.

Don't you know you can't be moderate and a Republican at the same time anymore. Systematically every incumbent moderate Republican has been thrown under the bus by the Republican leadership in order to put Tea Party associated idiots in office.
