My experience with new Photomatix Pro version 6

The new Photomatix version just released has many new features for RE and architectural photos. The new "Realistic" setting, using the new HDR rendering method called Tone Balancer results in a very natural-looking image. The interior window pulls are better and the exteriors -- where I used to perk up the color balance and saturation for greener grass and bushes -- now is perfect with the pre-set. I just batch-mode processed 60 3-shot bracketed images and have very little PP required after that.

This version also has straightening and vertical and horizontal perspective correction that is easy to use.

Also, a blending brush to selectively add in from one of the brackets or color enhancements.

For my real estate jobs, I batch process the bracketed images, using the "Natural" preset in previous versions. Now the new "Realistic" preset saves some additional PP. Here's an example showing the difference.

I've been exploring it for about three hours so far and think it is a great improvement on 5.1.3

I've been using it for a few days and I'm impressed. I had to purchase it as I had a version 4 license, worth every penny!
