Help with Bird ID's

Saw these two out in a marsh. I believe from google searching I have a Green Heron and an Eastern Kingbird. Are those ID's correct??

Thanks!! I love photographing birds but outside of the normal visitors to my feeder, my bird ID skills are poor. The online ID websites are pretty darn good and pretty fun to wade through.

You can have some fun by submitting your photos to www.birdsnap.com and seeing what they say it is. Sometimes they are spot on, other time hilariously far off, depending on the quality and clarity of the photo submitted, I imagine.
