I must admit I miss california. NO other state has the scope of varied scenery which exists there from south to north. None! Possibly the nicest pics of Mono i've seen, good job. Now for a drive from there up to Yosemite via the back side. No guard rails, be careful! lol

I will not say I miss CA as I do live there. I too will say these are probably the best Mono lake photos I have ever seen. Most all of my camera friends have been many time visitors to Mono Lake & Bodie I myself have not ventured over there for 3 reasons - money, time & old age. But as I do get to venture around the Central & Northern part of the state I have many photo ops that others would be envious of. Yesterday it was a 300 mi round trip from our house to 5 mi from the North end of the Golden Gate bridge for a Dr. appointment for my wife - sooooooo it was up to the Marin headlands for a peek at SF & the GG thru the summer haze while standing in 20 mile winds. Brrrrrr. Some photos but Ho Hum compared to my sunny day photos from 2 months ago.

Harvey, I can imagine. Only recall a couple of times when San Fran wasn't obscurred by marine layer. Usually just passing through on my way to the Lost Coast or the Giant Redwoods. Now THERE'S scenery!!
