Sony Nex-5

one more question, then I will leave you alone for awhile! Looking at the product menu for the Nex-5, I see many comments about lack of lens choices. I am considering ordering the LAEA2 camera mout adapter, and using my alpha a-mount lenses-- 70-200 and a wonderful Sigma 10-20mm WAL. All that seems to defeat the idea of a compact Nex-5, so i am trying to choose bewtween two available Sony lenses:
18-55, or the 55-210 lens, both around $300. . The 18-200 is too pricey at $900, for me, anyway.
That said, if it were you, which would you buy, and would you consider the adapter, and use the A- mounts?
Once again, I appreciate your support, and will look for ways to contribute as my experience grows.

I would read a bit about the adapter, I know that you can not put the old FD lenses on the new EOS bodies and expect them to work the same because of the difference in the distance of the focal plane from the lens...

Here is an article that I found very interesting on Bridge Cameras that points out that they are the future, but that also there will be rapid changes in the technology as they work to unseat DSLR's at the top of the food chain.

Just read and listened to this fascinating subject. My fears have been realized, just when all my DSLR camera equipment cost more than my car, it's becoming obsolete.
Ignorance used to be bliss....
