Devilish Twinkle in the eyes?

That is how one friend described it. The back story is I was experimenting with a new diffuser (decided to get the new Mag Mod Sphere). Gabe, my almost 2 grandson liked poking it because it is soft round and it makes a bright light. Well, if you can't beat em join em I guess. I had a macro lens and could get close focus distance so we played get the soft white flashy thing while I snapped some pics.

Love the angle and the expression. Bothered a bit with the background . . . and not loving the soft focus. Those eyes just have to be sharp.

I concur. Focus was a challenge as he was bobbing and weaving closing fast on me while I was holding the camera trying to keep the single point focus on his eye. I should have increased the shutter speed, but a moment to change settings could have resulted in Gabe losing interest and off to something else.

Sometimes expression trumps technicals.
