Hi,
I'm trying to find out how to bracket with my Nikon D700. I am trying HDR and want to bracket to get the most dynamic range possible. Any help appreciated.
i'm not at all familiar with nikon(canon here) but i assume that at that level of quality most are similar so, with that in mind i'd say check your owner's manual & find where to access the aeb (auto exposure bracketing) feature in your menu. you can then set at what increments you want for the bracketing.
Go to your menu and find auto bracketing and indicated you want to do the exposure mode.
Then go to the function button and use the command dial to indicate how many exposures you want to make. WIth this camera you can do up to 9 exposures.
checking there now. Thanks for the quick response.
I have done that but when I turn the dial nothing happens. Do I need to reassign a function to the dial?
hold the functon button and just turn the main command dial .
Have you assign the function button and the AEB mode in the menu?
Thank you so much. There was another item I needed to select in the menu to assign AEB to the main control dial, but once I did that... magic.
