This is one, of 2 or 3 "Full Service" Stations, left in our town. The owner did a great job in restoring it. I love to go by there, it is just right up the street from our downtown. also, and old 1953/54(?) I think, Plymouth. Has all the original parts. My husband likes to buy and sell things. It always makes for interesting things to look at, when people come to our Building Supply Store to shop. I have an antiques store there as well. Wanted to keep it for photo prop, but my husband decided he would make a better return for his money if he just sold it as is! He was right, of course! Would have taken lots of photo shoots to make what he did. So, sadly, it was purchased yesterday.

Very nice images
The car is a very late 1930 - early 1940s Pontiac, body style looks a lot like my 1942 Chev. (yes 1942 it had us army s/n on it.) Oops it is a 1940 Chev coupe, the grilles were more massive and different shape from 1942 on up.

Try the download and the chrome upper piece on the grill says Chevy! About mid or so 1940's. chase
Actually a 1940 Chevy Deluxe Coupe.

Yes, a 1940 Chevy, according to my husband. I was trying to remember what it was, but forgot! I figured someone on here would let me know. :)

1940 Chevy! I stand corrected!! :) But, I forgot, but ask my husband. LOL. He had another old beauty, a 1954 Chevy. Picture attached! With our dog Duke having fun going for a ride in it.

Yep! I viewed the download, but did not pay much attention. Figured there'd be some people on here to correct me.

I spent my hs years as a grease monkey/tire changer/car washer/gas pumper at a Gulf Station. Don't see Gulf any more- don't know if Gulf is still pumping.

Also the Chevy "bow tie" on the hood badge.

Not sure, either. This station still pumps your gas and checks your oil. Still dings when you drive up too!!
I remember there was a Gulf station pretty much the same as the one in the photo near where I grew up in southeastern PA. It was replaced with a McDonald's several years ago.

I also worked at a Gulf station during my hs years in the Hill Country of Texas: fill-ups, washing/waxing, oil changes, you-name-it. That station photo did take me back!

Is that not a Pontiac winged goddess on the hood?
