Bushhawk Shoulder Mount & parts

Recently I decided to dust off my Bushhawk shoulder mount as I am not as steady as I used to be while capturing images of moving aircraft. It seems the manufacturer no longer conducts business. Is anyone able to advise where parts might be available? In particular, I wish to acquire at 1 least trigger release for Canon and a plate that is used to mount the handle to the device. While attending the Barksdale Defenders of Liberty air show I came across a unique adaption that I believe will help me capture aircraft with spinning propellers at slower speeds (1/125 or so). Thank you in advance.....Respectfully, Tom

Tom, the ad also references other devices sold "as is" and other levels of use. I think the only way to get parts is to buy one or two in poor or inoperative condition and strip it (them) for parts. Good luck.

Thank You. I will keep my eyes and ears open. A situation as this, I prefer to have some "backup" parts and supplies on hand. It would appear that my modifications just might worth the effort. After engineering my "HawK", I feel confident it will work. Now for an aviation event to capture.

If your modifications are successful, will you patent them or will you share them with us in detail?

Yes I will. I had the opportunity to use it it yesterday (Sat May 20 at Illinois Valley Airport in Peru Illinois) and quickly settled into a comfortablw image capturing routine. I actually am very comfortable using the Bushhawk now as opposed to first purchasing and attempting to use it. More photographt today (Sunday) and I then have time to break it down.....Tom

Which part are you looking for? Here is a link to a cord I use to connect the shutter trigger on the Bushhawk and the camera : https://www.amazon.com/RC-611-Remote-Terminal-Miniphone-Coiled/dp/B003TJQ83C The cord comes from Asia and takes some time to arrive. I have used it and it works perfectly.

Thanks for responding. I am looking for the shoulder bar that attaches to the grip. Mine broke where the adjustment hinge was. I will try your source, Thanks,
Paul
