PS CC Glitch ?

I have PS CC. And sometime over the past several upgrades I have noticed there seems to be a (undetermined) finite number of images that can be opened before PS CC blacks out the image. By that I mean the PS window comes up but no image. And yet if I close the window, PS asks if I want to save the image (something must be working in the background). My work around has been to quit PS or even restart the computer and then all is as should be for another finite number. Bridge and Camera Raw are not affected. And I do not use LR. I have a fairly new 13 " Apple laptop. Before I go to tech support I wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

...I'd call 'em. Funny, and it may be nothing, but when I read the header of your post I thought, "...betcha it's a Mac." Haha, I'm having issues with screen sizing right now with my older MacBook Pro hooked to a big newer monitor using the display port...

If you are talking about opening many images at the same time, I have no idea. If you are on a Mac, and the software (in Lr for me) tabs on all sides disappear, that was/is and issue which has been/is being worked on. I have the absolute latest versions of both, and have not had issues in quite some time. As much as I love my Macs, I don't feel they do quite as good a job vetting software releases as they did under Steve Jobs, but all things march on. Hope this was helpful.

Only opening one image at a time. And I'm not sure if the tabs disappear (or some of them) but probably not because I can edit the image but can't see the image- go figure. I just did the "correction" so it will be awhile before it happens again and then I will look closely at what remains of the window. Thanks.

Far from it. This was a ROYAL PITA for a while. I do believe that between Apple and Adobe, this issue has been resolved. At least it seems to be. As I said, I have ALL the latest software versions. Best of luck.

It hasn't been resolved for my computer. Is there something on my end that needs to happen? I'm not all tweaked out about it but it is annoying.

You didn't say Mac or PC. I do use Lr or a PC once in a while, but that is Lr6 and not CC. What I described was on a Mac and was in Lr, NOT Ps. My first suggestion would be to make sure you have the latest version of everything, including drivers for things like monitors and video cards. One thing I really appreciate on the Mac side is that they take care of their own hardware with their software updates. Many less headaches! Again, best of luck. This too will pass!

I have Mac. And I am currently updating the newest updates. With each update I have hoped it will resolve. Maybe this will be the one!

I thought I saw on an upgrade recently (for cc on Mac) that there was something about 'resolves issue where image may not didplay'.

I haven't had any problems but it does appear that issues for CC and Mac get resolved pretty fast.

Have you installed all the recent updates?

I thought I had but not- installing now. Maybe that will be the fix. Thanks.

...remember at the beginning of the thread, I said i was having some issues and thought it was the Mac part of the equation? Well, I called Adobe first and we winnowed it down to the 'puter being the problem...then I called Apple and eventually, after two tiers of techs, we got it. I still think you need to do that.

I don't understand fully your problem, but anything new should be brought in LR first. LR is very powerful by itself. It all depends on what you are attempting to accomplish. LR and PS are both very different.
