Hi all, the better half decided on the Nikon D3400 and has enjoyed the shots she has taken. Unfortunately the
Date/Time stamp was applied to the pictures. I turned this off in the camera but is there an easy way to delete
this from the pictures she has already taken? Is there an editor out there that can remove this from the EXIF data?

Easy to edit the EXIF. Others will tell you how, but if the date/time stamp is also embedded in the image, it becomes harder--not impossible with cloning etc. but more difficult. Just do a search on editing the exif data.
The datestamp is part of the stored JPEG if that's what you shoot. If you shoot in RAW, the datestamp is not there. That's in the Nikon manual.
If you're talking about the date stamp in the bottem corner of the picture, the healing brush in Adobe Elements (and I assume in the other Adobe products) works wonders. Similar to the cloning stamp, but I think quite a bit easier to use..
The camera puts the date in the EXIF data, certainly, but apparently this model allows a date to be stamped in the image, and it is that date stamp the OP wants to remove.
Photoshop makes quick work of this.
Leicaflex, In Windows, to remove the exif data from .jpg files, no program is needed.
Highlight the group of files, Right click - Properties - Details.
Edit the data there, either deleting, or changing, then save. All of the selected .jpg files will be changed.
Of course this does nothing to the imprinted date on the images themselves, but the exif data is changed in the .jpg files.
Thanks all, I tried the healing brush in PS and it got rod of it although it seems to leave a bit
of artifacts in there. I shoot Raw but the better half isn't interested in dealing with Raw files. I
did manage to turn off the date stamp in the setup menus.
For fun, I put my 28-300 lens on the camera and it worked fine. I took a couple pictures and
she was impressed. The lower zoom has VR but the longer one doesn't. I was thinking of possibly
getting her the 18-270 Tamron, what do you guys think? THis is probably a lot better than the kit
lenses.

I shoot with a Canon 80D and have shot in both RAW and JPEG. I don't have dates on either because I turned it off.
