I've been driving past this house for several years. Appeared to be just another old farm house.....until I went to the back of the house. There is a story here, but neighbors were gone. Another trip is in the works.

I guess they needed all that other building material for another project, but they couldn't bring themselves to remove the stones.

No, not a flood plan. I think they used all those stones to get even with the newer addition.

That foundation looks a little shaky to me and watch out for that first step, it's a killer.
