I use my Sony A6000 with 16-50 and 55-210mm lenses when I need something small. I'm thinking about what other lenses I might "need." What do you have, and what do you like? Don't ask what I shoot because I shoot whatever's in front of me. Everything is fair game.
I found my 55-210 of only mediocre quality, so I would suggest a replacement of that lens unless you are totally pleased with its performance. The lenses that I use on my A6000 with great frequency include Sigma 19mm, Zeiss 35mm 2.8 (FE lens but superb and tiny), Zeiss 1.8 24mm, and 10-18 zoom. My Sony RX10 outperformed the 55-210. When I want longer reach on the A6000 I use my FE 70-200 f4 which is far superior to the 55-210 in my experience.

Thanks! I'm starting a list.
Is that 10-18 the Sony lens? I don't find a Zeiss listed.
For portraits I love the sony zeiss 55mm the 10 18 nice an I use the 18 105 for video
The Sony/Zeiss 16-70 f/4.0 lens stays on my A6000 although I frequently use the Sony 10-18 f/4. and the 35mm f/1.8 for low light situations. All good lenses.
PS - should have mentioned that my post this morning of Old Log Cabins of Callao...these photos were all taken with the Sony/Zeiss 16-70.

Thanks. I haven't looked at the gallery yet. I'll look now.
EDIT: Lookin' good!

What do (I) have....: Both your kit lenses + "Zony" 24mm f/1.8 (SEL24F18Z), Sony Chinese 35mm f/1.8 (SEL35F18), Sony Chinese 50mm f/1.8 (SEL50F18), Sony (SEL2870) FE 28-70mm F/3.5-5.6 OSS (full-frame kit zoom).
What do (I) use...: (I'm not an artist or a "photographer", I "snap" events, candids, kids, dogs, and the occasional sunset)
Zony 24mm f/1.8 ~ the 36mm for sunsets, low-light scapes, occasionally at events ~ I don't use this lens nearly as much as I'd thought I might ~ yet, when the situation calls for it, nothing (in my bag) beats it
Sony 35mm f/1.8 ~ the 52mm "normal" that's usually on the camera, as it's the most versatile
Sony 50mm f/1.8 ~ the 75mm "portrait" that goes on the a6000 when sitting across the table from my unsuspecting subject ~ at certain events ~ on wider streets ~ anywhere that the extra "boost" is desirable (for IQ, this is THE bargain prime of the bunch)
Sony 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS ~ purchased ($230) for use as a "travel zoom" instead of the pricey and iffy Zeiss Vario-Tessar T✻ E 4/16-70 ZA OSS ~ ~~ and then I discovered the Fujifilm 18-55mm f/1.8-2.8 "kit zoom".
Jerry,
Interestingly (to me); I'm planning a trip to Northern Colorado next month, and writing that out is helping me decide what goes in the Tenba Cooper.

Yes, always good ideas here.
I had to Google Tenba Cooper. I thought it might have been a special version of the Mini Cooper.

Sorry. But, it would take all of my fixed income (that is still waiting to get fixed) to be able to afford a Mini Cooper. I've driven one extensively, and would own it in a minute.
(personal choice) Consider use and desire to carry multiple lenses on a casual shoot and then look at 18-200 3.5. I pack it, shoot anywhere except indoor. And with Sony's Clear Image Zoom technology ... you have a 27-300 mm grab and go set.

Like you I photograph a wide variety of subjects. And the Sony, Zeiss 16-70 f4 lens (also) stays on my A6300 most of the time. Expensive and not particularity good reviews, but I have found it ideal for most of the work I do and to be honest find it's quality pretty good. I sometimes use the Sony prime 50mm f1.8, excellent in poor lighting, and I'm considering the purchase of the 35mm f1.8. (As in the days of film I rarely used anything but a standard prime lens). Also have (but rarely use) the 55-210 as I think there are quality issues and don't often need that sort of length. So if I had to choose just one lens it would be the Zeiss 16-70 f4.

I would buy a
real Mini Cooper, not that thing being sold by BMW. It has gotten so large that the term "mini" no longer applies. Check the reliability record - one of the worst.
