What bands do these people play in. Most cases...the picture is of the "star" of the band. The last is the most difficult...think 1966....think Chicago area...think #3 on Billboard poll.

This should be in General Chit-Chat.
I know the average age on here is about 104....but I thought maybe SOMEBODY would be into stuff other than cameras. I saw the Beatles in Chicago on 09/11/1966. I see Paul McCartney here in town (Tinley Park, il.) on July 26. R&R has never left me....it's with me every day. Photography maybe 4-5-6 times a year! Tickets for the show went on sale 1 1/2 hours ago.
When I go to concerts....as you can see....I always like to be front row!
I should know them all but sadly no. Though the next to last picture looks like Tommy Shaw of Styx fame. The rest in that picture I don't recognize.
I can only get a couple.
1. Rick Nielsen, Cheap Trick
3. John Popper, Blues Traveler
4. Dickey Betts, The Allman Bros. Band
I thought #2 looked familiar. Rickey Medlocke, Lynyrd Skynrd, perhaps?
1-Cheap Trick
2-Lynyrd Skynyrd
3-Blues Travler
4-Dickie Betts
5-Dave Mason
6-Devin Allman (yes....Gregg's son)
7-Molly Hatchett
8-Shadows of Knight (G-l-o-r-i-a)
1-2-5 were taken at the "Worlds Largest Music Festival" Milwaukee, Wisconsin (10 days/10 stages/10 hours a day/$10 to get in.

Not quite that age yet. If I "hear" them, I can tell you the name of the song and the name of the band also.
Unfortunately, I never went to any live shows, so I don't recognize most of the faces, especially if it is a recent photo.
The Beatles were in Charlotte, NC when I was about 10-11 years old. At that time I could have seen them if I had the $10.00 ticket fee and a way to get to the Colosseum. Always hated that I couldn't get there.
I recognized a couple of names, but none from the pictures. Maybe if they opened their eyes.
Nice collection of artists!

Well, obviously you should follow what you like best.
But R&R, are you kidding? Suggest you try R&B for great performers; it's way better than R&R.
FYI: Most of us on UHH like photography better that R&R, which is why we participate.
Tinley Park? Is that a suburb of Waukegan?
Tinley Park is the town that has an outdoor arena that hold about 20,000. Jason Aldean (top 3 country nation wide) is in town tonight. Paul McCartney comes here in July for 2 shows. When I saw the Beatles (09/12/1966) only 2.2% were guys. When I went back to school I could not tell ANYBODY....they would laugh and make fun. For me to tell people back then would be like telling guys now: I went to see Justin Biever....or New Kids on the Block. Back then their latest single was : "Yellow Submarine." See what I mean...not really a "guy" song.
