Your opinion on these inexpensive Sony lenses?

I'm considering the purchase of a used Sony NEX-6 and these 2 lenses:
Sony E PZ 16-50mm 3.5/5.6 OSS
Sony E 55-210mm 4.5/6.3 OSS

Just how good are these lenses? I believe the shorter zoom is one of "kit" lenses. Not sure about the tele zoom

Comments from actual users would be most valuable to me; as I've read many of the reviews, and am getting a mixed reactions.

Thanks

I've had both--though on my a6000 and a6300. For kit lenses they are pretty good. Not top-flight but typical kit lenses. However, I would not go out of my way to purchase them. For about the same price, you can get better Sony lenses. I keep an 18-200 on my camera (SEL18200LE) most of the time.

I have both, and I like them, but I'm not shooting for a national publication. All the reviews I've read about them agree that they are very good lenses for the money. At this point, I'm wondering what to buy next for my A6000. That sounds like a separate post.

I suggest Googling "Sony 16-50mm review."

The 55-210 took some nice photos for me but gave way to the g-master lens (70-200mm) which is excellent. Also owned the 16-50mm which is good but certainly not even close to outstanding. It really comes down to what you're planning on shooting.

They are both kit lens. That means they are inexpensive or cheap. Find a camera you like without lenses, and then choose what lens interests you. Why try to use someone else mistakes.

Zeiss makes lenses for your camera and they're the best that money can buy.....and you'll need lots of $$$$ to buy them. Your photos, if properly exposed, will be outstanding.
Best regards, Ricker
