Welcome to Day 166 :) Today we are going to take a look at Institutions of Higher Learning. Which could mean anything from a day care center to a university. For mine I went to the University of Arizona ... it's a beautiful campus. I got so many great photos it was difficult to narrow it down and choose what to post LOL. I decided to just show some of the buildings. Here are a few examples to get us started .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

of course we can't forget the trolly construction going right through the campus

I will be gone for a while. After work today it will be pack, load, run all the last minute errands. Tomorrow morning we will go. My oldest son and I are working at a Joni and Friends Family camp. I likely won't have any phone service let alone internet service. Won't get back til either the 23rd or 24th. Just want you to know I will miss all of you. If you are interested in what we will be doing, you can look it up on the net. Be happy, healthy and safe. Ann

I got some today. Had to go into the archives to get them. There is a saying in photo circles "Work your subject" I worked this one to death. This is Stetson University in DeLand, Fl. The copula is what stands out and is used as the schools logo. The pipe organ is also on of it's points of interest.

The staircase was a 3 minute shot done in 30 second interval. This was done to allow students to go up and down the stairs while the shot was set up.

Loguey we all know hire education were you come from is kindergarten, yet we don't want to see building blocks in you shots.

Bushido if i knew you were only going to shoot only one building i would have gone and shot there yesterday... if you take a photo on a college campus wouldn't it be nice to have students in the photo to show that there is some activity on the campus.... and not just a bunch buildings.... If you were making a 5 minute exposure you could have told the students to just keep walking and they wouldn't have shown up in your photo any way... and you should have told everyone that Stetson Univ was named for the Hat guy who lived in your town... i'll bet everyone would have thought he was from Texas......I loved Kindergarten we got to take naps, and play with blocks not Block Heads... have a great day... it shouldn't be 102 again today...

All the students were busy getting educated at Stetson not out goofing off. Loguey everyone knows you still take naps and play with blocks. By the way do you know how disturbing your avatar is to look at so early in the morning. I haven't finished my first cup of coffee and I am already ill.

Photogrl 57 these are great images... i didn't know that in AZ they used Red Brick i thought that was only in New England.... its a shame that at a big university like UAZ they don't have any students either... (sorry if i'm going to to pick on Bushido about that i must include you too)

The University of New Brunswick is located on a hill in the city of Fredericton. When you attended university there amid the cluster of red brick buildings seen in this photo, you "went going up the hill".
This view of unb, up the hill, was shot from a distance with the old railroad bridge, which is now part of the NB walking trail is in the foreground.

You really captured the beauty of this University inside and out. I really loved the picture of the stairs.
