This is Teddy. I happened to catch her at a "photogenic" moment. She usually looks guilty (often with good reason!) or walks off when I try to get her picture. Taken with Nikon P520. BTW, after many helpful comments in UHH and much research online, I received a Nikon D5600 a couple of weeks ago. I was settled on the D5500, but my husband decided to surprise me with the successor. I have been studying the reference manual and the D5600 for Dummies book I ordered and hope to start using it this week.
We have corgis as well, and they both respond to cameras similarly to Teddy. Either turn away somberly, or display an uncharacteristic pitiful look. They otherwise are the most joyful dogs I've ever owned. It's like they think the camera is looking inside them, and they're not very proud of what it's seeing.

Our dog hides in the bushes when the camera appears....we have only one picture, taken when he was 9 weeks old....he is now 8 years.
Teddy is so handsome, Bobcat87! Very good shot!
