msvcrt10.dll is missing

Am getting this message when I go into Photoshop Elements (I have v9) edit. I click on "ok" and it still takes me into the editor. But does anyone know how to get rid of this? I've tried several "fixes" that I found online when I search for the topic, but it is still NOT fixed. Thank you.

You do not indicate if you are using a PC or Mac, so assuming a PC there are several things that will cause this error. Go here and try some of these suggestions:

Reinstalling Elements might help, but as this site indicates, there can be several causes.

You may be able to find a copy of version 10 and copy it into the folder containing the program files for PSE-9.
If that doesn't fix the problem - you may have to 'register' the DLL (see link)

I spent a lot of time trying to resolve this problem. Merlin, I never did find the version you specified, but what I downloaded seems to be working.
