The sky gave me a couple of openings between clouds last night and I jumped at the chance to shoot the Moon-Jupiter conjunction.
The image below is a composite of images off two cameras and lenses/telescopes. The base image was shot with the RX10 III at 500mm and is the best 10 of 27 subs aligned and stacked in AviStack2. The Moon insert is a 100% crop from the best single image from 33 subs shot with the RX10 III at 600mm.
Jupiter and its Moons is a composite of two images off the ATIK Color Infinity w/ a 0.6x reducter on an AT8RC scope (960mm focal length). Jupiter is the best 100 of 250 subs (2x Drizzled) and Jupiter's Moons are the best 10 of 35 subs (at a longer exposure). Jupiter and Moons were processed in Registax.
All subs were preprocessed in Lightroom, the composite was put together in Photoshop and cleaned up in Lightroom.
Image is best viewed as the 'Download' version.
Enjoy!

I saw that Brian, I had my video camera mounted up, but it wasn't worth a hoot.
So I jumped back to the G3.
I'm glad to see you got some news worthy images.
